We are the Laxton's. Mark and I (Shannon) married on June 11th, 1994, so this year will mark our 11th anniversary.   We have been saying since we were first married that we would celebrate 10 years with a 2nd honeymoon somewhere. I was holding out for a cruise. We put it off last year due to building our new home(and our oldest having her appendix removed that week) and thought we would go for our 11th. However God had other plans for our lives and it looks as if we will be putting it off yet again.   I think China is a perfect trip and what a gift we will be getting in place of a cruise!
In our 10 1/2 years of marriage Mark and I have had 12 different addresses, but we are finally praying to stay settled in our home here in Illinois. We live across the river from St Louis, Missouri.   Mark works in the world of banking. I am a full time mom.
We have three children and you can read about them on the links below. Hopefully with in the year, we will be completing our family with our little china baby.    We are also "owned" by our newest member Hershey Kisses. She is a Bug Puppy. Never heard of a bug? Neither had we till we met Hershey. Her mother was a full pug and her father a Boston Terrier. She was born in late november so she is still full of that puppy energy. Fits in well around here w/ 3 kids.   We hope you enjoy meeting our family and watching us "grow"!!
